Music Lessons

Violin Lessons with Rachael Whawell (Monday pm)

Violin lessons are available in school time. Children must sign up at the end of the Summer term to begin in September at the start of the new school year.

Violins are provided on loan from the Derbyshire Music Hub for a one-off administrative fee. Recommended music books and accessories must be purchased by parents separately.

Lessons are paid a term in advance. Please note that a half term notice of 6 weeks is required to terminate lessons.

Woodwind Lessons with Nick Stacey (Wednesday pm)

Woodwind lessons are available with Mr Stacey at Brassington Primary School. Lessons can be on an individual basis or in groups of two, lasting 20 minutes (unless otherwise arranged). 

Clarinets & flutes can be hired through Derbyshire County Music Partnership. Saxophones are also available for hire. Lessons cost £9.70 per individual 20 minute lesson. 

Piano & Guitar Lessons with Andrew Ibbotson (Thursday pm)

Piano & guitar lessons are available in school time. 

Recommended music books, accessories and a guitar must be purchased by parents separately.

Lessons are paid a term in advance. Please note that a half term notice of 6 weeks is required to terminate lessons.
